Spotted this on the Game website, hope they include all the dlc with it.

Trilogy boxset is due for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in November.

As the name cleverly suggests, it'll contain all three games from Bioware's blockbusting sci-fi RPG saga. This is particularly noteworthy for PlayStation 3 owners, as only the last two games in the series have been released for that console. The first game, which debuted back in 2007, was published by Microsoft and was exclusive to Xbox 360. A PC version eventually followed, and PlayStation 3 owners got to join in from Mass Effect 2 onwards, once EA took over the publishing rights.

The exact contents of the trilogy set have yet to be announced, so it's unclear whether the set will also include all the bonus missions and material previously available as downloadable content.

What we do know is that FemShep, the female version of series hero Commander Shepard, won't be on the front cover. The first two games showcased only the default male version of the character on their cover art, and for the third instalment Bioware offered a reversible sleeve so players could choose. When fans reacted with disappointment that FemShep would be left out again, Bioware tweeted: "Well, we've got a little something special planned for FemShep coming, so keep that chin up. Not with the cover art. We're doing something separate."

I wouldn't buy it for the PS3 unless all DLC was included, but a shame they cannot port ME1 to the PS3 <img src="' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//sad.gi f"' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Same here I already have the three games on the PC, still only played about half way through the first one but if the dlc is included I might pick it for the 360.

Hehe, although I am a big sci-fi fan and already read tons of books, I stopped the first Mass Effect twice when I arrived on the Citadel. I am sure there is a great story behind this game, it was just too annoying at this point.

About the DLC's, not all of them are included.

Quote:

What DLC is included in the Mass Effect Trilogy?

  • On PC, Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash site mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting players access to co-op multiplayer.
  • On Xbox 360, Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are not included with Mass Effect, however they are available as stand-alone downloads through Xbox LIVE. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included and Online Pass will be included for Mass Effect 3.
  • Information on PlayStation 3 DLC will be available soon.

Stupid decision from EA - no surprise.

Hey guys, do any of you have a Bulldozer CPU in your PC? Do you get everyone turning into black blocks of pixels when entering Noveria Peak 15 or Ilos?

A fix has been found! Try this solution taken from Will-Z's post on the Bioware forums

"The console directions are on gamefaqs.com under "cheats" for Mass effect. Once you put the tilde as your console key, you just got to either Ilos or Peak 15, let it switch you to the black shapes, then hit the tilde, type

viewmode unlit

and hit tilde again to return to game. It does degrade the game a bit - makes it look somewhat super-saturated, but it's easier to believe it's just super-lighting from fluorescents, and is by far better than those stupid boxes.

I suggest making sure you are inside peak 15 before running the command, as the typing and typos WILL eat your level 1 hazard time up... "

To get the console active in Mass Effect do this:

"First, enable the console by going to Documents>BioWare>Mass

Effect>Config on your computer. Then open BIOInput in Notepad. Find

the line [Engine.Console] and under it add the line

ConsoleKey=Tilde. Then when playing in game simply press the tilde

key (above tab) to open the console"

Will-Z's original post here http://social.biowar...1342/7#14385382

Hope that helps someone out there, it certainly helped me. Should note that the graphic quality degrades a bit, but once you are in the station, just save the game and quit/restart to bring the graphics back up to what they should be. I wonder if the boxset will have this fix for AMD Bulldozer owners?

Oh, and to turn the fix off type

viewmode lit

That saves having to restart the game <img src="' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//wink3.gi f"' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

EDIT: More Mass Effect news: Dont know if this has been posted yet, but a mod was created for ME3 to give it a happy ending.

The files are up on the Bioware site here: http://social.bioware.com/project/8587/#files

I have AMD can remember what it is, black edition or something.

Does it happen in all three games or just one?.

Funny I was looking at the Mass effect trilogy box set yesterday look like they have not included any of the DLC in it.

Try it and see, not all AMD CPUs cause this bug. If you have anything pre FX Bulldozer your ok and it is only 2 missions in ME1 that is affected.
