i fixed the mat.lib related broken shading of the "Asp Scout"

I just tried out your Imperial Courier in the alpha 26 freeze. It's better than ever, but I see this glitch. I went back to the stock alpha 25 and saw the same issue.

Notice that the thrusters don't cover the dynamic parts of the model unless they're in the shade?

I enjoyed how the Imperial Interceptor (my favorite for dangerous missions) with new shoes.

Scout Asp greatly improved.

i guess i can fix it, since we have the new thrusters we have lost the progress we had once with the old,

the same issue was to see even in the beginning until it was fixed for a while?

at least i remember that i was very happy, i didn't to use them as last in a script (i always thought someone would remember this issue...).

but now i had to change all back, as far as possible, but certain leaks will stay.

i would have it in a state that this will be all what is left,

i could make a extra model for the retro-thrusters to rotate them later, but i guess that's deniable because it's only from this angle to see.

I put a multi_advert on the back of the nice_spacestation. I runs for a while then the game crashes with this message.

The length of time before the crash depends on the string I use in the tonumber. 'rear' and 'back' crash it fairly quickly but 'splash', which I use where station_splash used to be lasts much longer. Sitting inside the bay looking at 'splash' seems to last infinitely. I'm not positive about that because I haven't looked at it for an infinite amount of time. 😉 I don't see where the bug is. Here's my spacestations.lua if you want to look at it. The line number of the ad is 1689.

Exchange the silly cat-station-wall -picture(comming) soon     from datamodulsstation_splash.png   &    datamodelsshipsdefault_ship_textures...

against --conv&resize--> .png / 512x256pxls

or  against what ever you want!

That post is from so long ago (in Pioneer time) that I've nearly forgotten what it was about. That pic is nice. Where's it from and is it properly licensed to use? I think, to be an ad, it needs some text on it like "Vinnie's ShipWorks You Imagine it, we build it!".

hey, that's not silly (ok, matter of choice), it's the "octocat" of github, like it or not it suits pioneer, i guess.

 

of course feel free to fiddle around with the bitmap content of the adverts, no i order you to do so...
