Some videogame Kickstarter projects, that appeal to Retro Gamers and Space Sim fans:
Starlight Inception, a promising space combat sim:

Shadowrun Returns, a new game in the Shadowrun Universe (If it plays like the Sega Genesis/Megadrive game, it will be very addictive)

Brian's Fargo Wasteland 2 (I haven't played the original Wasteland, but I love all Fallout games, old and new. Invested high in this one 😀 😀 ).
Thanks for starting this thread CaptainKal. This will be a nice place to discuss and announce them.
Yes I was following Wasteland 2 definitely, and cannot wait to see screenshots flowing in from development of the game, I loved the first game. Maybe if they make enough money they could port the original to work on today's machines?
I just found out about the Shadowrun kickstarter yesterday and was going to post on this today. This is amazing to have this game going to be build like I have played on pen/paper and the actual creator is heading the project so what more can you ask for. Seeing both Wasteland and Shadowrun games again is nice to see, and maybe we will start to see a lot of older titles getting remade or updated sequels.
Now it's finding all the money for all of these great games that are coming.
Just wonder if the bubble is going to burst with Kickstarter as theres seems to a number of projects asking for large amount of money.
I guess this will only be a problem if the developers are not delivering what was promised and then it really wouldn't be kickstarter's fault, I would personally just block that certain developer from creating another project on the site. I don't think this will be much of an issue. I look at this as a great opportunity to have some good games funded that hopefully are created with the fan in mind.
Another one here on kickstart which may go ahead, not a space sim but a new Crimson Skies game. 😀

Played the XBox version and really enjoyed it, still got to get the PC one up and running.

Problems with the video card? (I might have a solution 😉 ).

I not tried it out yet but I read some where that there are problems with newer video cards.
OK then. If you will try and find problems, I may be able to help you 😀 .
Too many kickstarters coming, running out of money 🙂
I absolutely loved playing Crimson Skies, the story was nice and the combat was great and always wondered why there wasn't another one because to my knowledge the game did quite well on the Xbox/PC?
I have been watching Grim Dawn a while now and Titan's Quest is in my opinion better than Diablo II and when this game is released it will probably out do Diablo III as well,
Give it a look here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cra ... /grim-dawn
Some interesting projects, not spacesim related
Legends of Eisenwald http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1684781151/legends-of-eisenwald
a strategy RPG like Disciples II.
Dark Meridian http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/967856643/dark-meridian
an action - RTS blend.
One here called Alpha Colony: A Tribute to M.U.L.E.

Think they going to have a hard time getting $500k, seem to recall there was a remake on the Amiga called Trader.
Star Command: http://www.kickstart...c-mac-space-adv
Ah this a second kickstarter
There is a thread for Star Command in the mobile forum
