Thought this was a nice video showing off a few mods, guess I will finally play this game come 4.0, think I waited long enough now.

There are way better mods there, like capital ship bridge, TAF, some fixes etc etc. Personally I have around 100 of mods for my game, which makes a game more fun and less tedious.

Thanks for the headsup on the mods on the steam workshop McAule. I will be definitely playing this when 4.0 is released and maybe just maybe I will actually finish an X game 🙂 But some of the mods for this game look great.

In the beta they have changed some stuff. Hiring npcs shows their skills. Bulletin board replaces mission computer but they act the same. Jump drive and SETA which take forever to get, kyon torpedos, weapon upgrades, able to access control menu in f2 mode when landed on a ship (no mouse though just keys), a different fleet control system where you can select multiple ships,  fly to a positron on a map command where you can move a target cross hair around, new difficulty mode that spawns tons of ships, tractor beam (press the letter O), ships hull can repair to 100%, more capital sized pirate ship variety, ships engines damage the skunk, more mission types and some more.
