Anyone here play spacesim board games?

    ive got two

    1. High frontier is a hard scifi game about exploring and exploting the inner solar system. Lots of launching expensive rockets and crews on what turn out to be one way missions

    2. Phantom League, this is basically elite on a board game. You can trade, fight pirates etc, and earn prestiege.

They’re both good games but tend to be out compete for table time by other stuff.

There are also a number of 4x games out there, and lots of 80s spacewarsims by TSR, GDW, SPI etc. Is anyone into this stuff?

The only space board game I have played is the “Awful Green Thing From Outer Space”.
