    Probably because ship have landed and have not docked. There is big difference.

    How far in ly (light years) is that system?

    Do you have enough fuel? Is that system actually in hyperspace range of your ship?

    About centre of galaxy: currently you will most likely instantly die by being spawned inside Agamemnon when hyperspacing into black hole system.

    There is patch which is supposed to fix that but you need to manually apply it and recompile.

    Even after you apply that patch you will most likely die in matter of seconds by being sucked into Agamemnon.

    (In older versions there was bug – you would just pop up on another side when crashing into star 😆 )

    The “problem” can be solved by editing pioneer’s config.ini and changing FOV from 80 to 40. Now, try to fly without using autopilot, Good Luck!.

    material settings in .mtl will be disregarded, only the texture information is taken from it,

    this was done once due to a issue with the materials from matlib, they came out wrong in the game.

    i can’t tell if this still persists, for some reasons it could be good to “revive” the matlib,

    on the other hand, materials won’t appear anyway in the way you set them i.e. in Blender.

    you would have to use “Multiply” with the texture to see a similar result and still it’s not the same as it appears in the game,

    because of that it makes more sense to me not to use it and to set the materials in the script.

    .mtl is not used in Wave

    This have nothing to do with collision mesh. But at least one ship indeed have broken collision mesh (Hammerhead).

    nearbystations are paths because of nearbystations=nearbysystem:GetBodyPaths()

    and as you can see that class does not have superType attribute.

    To get superType attribute you need to get call

    station = location.GetSystemBody()

    which as you can see have superType attribute

    then you just check if

    station.superType == ‘STARPORT’

    Anyway this whole code is pointless because location and all nearbystations are already ‘STARPORT’.

    but if you check station.type you will know if station is ‘STARPORT_ORBITAL’ or ‘STARPORT_SURFACE’

    Broken drivers? I can not guess your machine configuration.

    Disabling HDR and/or Shaders may help.

    Actually that is pretty bad idea and it breaks point of mission and gameplay as whole.

    Instead you should get bonus if you deliver item much before due date.

    C++ is not very stable. I get same strange stuff going on with latest clang version (FreeBSD CURRENT)

    This is still alpha man, old savefiles are not supported but could be converted if someone write script.

    You can get money with Ctrl+M.

    Because you need right ship and equipment for that job and some brain to calculate if you can reach destination in time.

    Don’t worry your ugly models are not going to be in my branch.

    Not mentioning how ugly they look and how broken animations they have.

    Or stupid use of os.clock or bilboard stuff when pos lights sub models are available or rotating galactic map in viper x.

    Or stupid looking smiling pilot face in ship with thousands of small parts in unindented code.

    You already showed your skills and I will just move on.

    I will stop now, it is pointless anyway to have proper discussion with your ego trip.
