Agreed Captain Kal. Han Solo movie was better that The Last Jedi, and I would probably prefer standalone movies like Han Solo and Rogue One over them continuing the Star Wars series because I actually have no desire to see the last movie in the theater. I would like to see a Obi-wan movie.

I would just like to tell Disney to take more time with these origin stories because these are for the fans, so we are a bit more critical of them 🙂 By no means did Han Solo suck, they could have made it better that is for sure. Yeah seeing Darth Maul at the end kinda threw me a little, and i would have to look up in the timeline if he was supposed to be there at that time? But there was some definite remember-able characters in it, chewie was great.

Haha Pinback, the Ghostbusters remake was awful truly stepping all over the original series. I was very surprised some of the original cast even wanted to make an appearance.

Looks like there is some free DLC released and a new patch that was recently release for Star Control Origins:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ4roRNp8WY

The Multiverse DLC includes access to the Multiverse option on the main menu of Star Control: Origins, which is where players will be able to download mods from others in the Steam community and apply them to their game. This is also where players are able to share their mods with others.

In addition to the new mod sharing options, the Multiverse DLC gives access to Adventure Studio. There, players can create an epic quest that spans the galaxy, complete with custom characters, dialogue options, and more. The other editors – world, ship, and building – will let players create assets to enhance those quests and make them truly unique. The studio’s interface makes it easy for players without mod experience to get in on the fun, too.

Along with the Multiverse DLC comes Star Control: Origins v1.1. This update includes improvements to gameplay, graphics, and game balancing. Several other enhancements, including a new quest line, new voices for Free Trandals, and improved rover physics, have also been included.

A new expansion is coming to Stellaris called MegaCorp

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hw50QvQ8-C4

    Info on the upcoming expansion:

Stellaris: MegaCorp introduces a revolutionary new way to conduct business on a galactic scale by seamlessly synergizing new markets and city planets with state-of-the-art citizen solutions and more marketable human capital. Alongside a host of free updates coming to Stellaris, the new MegaCorp DLC will include:

    1. Corporate Culture: Chief Executive Officers of a MegaCorp can conduct business on a galaxy-wide scale with a host of new civics. By building Branch Offices on planets within empires they have trade agreements with, the MegaCorp can add a portion of the planet’s Trade Value to their own network. Using the new Corporate Authority, construct an economic powerhouse and dominate galactic trade – for a brighter future.
    2. City World: With Ecumenopolis, players can increase the population density of core worlds to truly epic proportions, eventually creating a planet-spanning megacity.
    3. Caravaneer Fleets: Keep an eye out for the Caravaneers, nomadic interstellar wheelers-and-dealers who stay aloof from galactic politics, and always have a bargain up their sleeve. Expect surprises when these master traders wander through your space or when you visit their home systems.
    4. More Megastructures: Budget has been approved for your own glorious Matter Decompressor, Mega-Art Installation or Strategic Coordination Center to acquire new scaling capabilities for your megalopolis.
    5. Galactic Slave Market: Buy and sell labor on an industrial scale, set them free or keep them as livestock. The choice is yours!
    6. VIP Status Comes with its Perks: Keep your economy competitive in a cutthroat galaxy with additional Ascension perks.

I was never even going to attempt to watch this in the theater, I am kinda getting tired of all these remakes. Sometimes the original is better and new effects is not going to make it better 🙂

I will watch it when it hits Netflix, but I doubt highly this compares to the original. I mean come on, no one can replace Arnold fighting the Predator…. Now maybe Slyvester Stallone could haha, I said that because supposedly there is like a Rambo verses an alien style of movie Sly has been wanting to do 🙂 haha

Definitely a different style of game, not sure home much it will sell because it is missing some aspects I think it should have I agree with Gernot on a lot of what he said about.

Games should always have some sort of real life consequence in them, because in most situations games are actually teaching tools even if people don’t think of them as such. If a parent is responsible enough they should know the content and premise of any game their kid will play to make sure that they can explain specific aspects or the points of the game. Kids know the difference between video game violence and real violence.

This world is full of political correctness and trying to make the world into sunshine and rainbows. In the USA video games are the least of our worries, I think the biggest impact on kids is the mass medication of our children but I will leave that for another discussion and not here 😉

To get back to the game, it looks cute and almost has a Little Big Planet feel too it, even that game had violence and I considered that game very kid friendly 🙂

Wow, alpha 1&2 phases will be some huge content leaps in the game and truly make it playable and this is in the next 6mos. I will be interested in seeing some alpha1 videos to see if I might purchase this MMO. Star Citizen is taking forever and performance is still an issue.

I have never heard of this show until you mentioned this, looks like you can get it on DVD for like $8 on Amazon. And doing a little digging they also have like a remake of a series called ‘The Quatermass Experiment’. I believe if you have Amazon Prime you can watch both of these.

Oh that is definitely a blow to the developer. I have always disliked multiplayer only games because they have a limited life span because people have short attention spans. Its hard to create a game like a World of Tanks that brings people back and just grows. Content and progression is key for multiplayer only games in my opinion. In WOT I can pretty much get any tank in the game and I can level my crew to max all without spending a penny…. But it is a serious but fun grind, I have yet to play this game and maybe I will give it a shot next weekend.

The game looks amazing, but I think they hurt themselves without a huge marketing push. F2P games need marketing to bring in users and of course the gameplay needs to be solid.

I have to remember to pick this up for $2 at some point. And the developer had some fixes to the game this year, shame he removed DX12 support, would be nice to see if it gets added back in down the road. But the amount of lasers on the screen in combat is nice to see 🙂 looks like a fun shmup game.

I kinda thought this was dead, the devs are still at it and working on mechanics it seems from those tweets. So I guess its still a ways off. Its a good concept and I hope they get it out, I think with them throwing in VR I think it will definitely increase development time.

Hmmm I swear I talked about this one but couldn’t find it. I have had this one in my steam wishlist for a while now, just waiting for it to hit beta or release before getting it. But it does look great and I love westerns 🙂

Its getting regular updates and its currently on sale (25% off) …. so many games… I need more time and money 🙂

I will play around with this soon, the DLC’s still seem expensive… I wonder how much of a grind this game is? I know World of Tanks it takes forever to get a tier 10 tank without paying money 🙂
