Great progress since the last time you posted thanks Sung and Xaron.
Nice to see most of the pieces are falling into place and the only thing that will be left is touching it up graphically. Is that music from the game itself? How many items will we be able to trade and can we salvage destroyed ships?
Oh on posting videos, if you notice in the posting screen I have some buttons (ie: google, youtube, etc) if you click on that and then stick your link to the video in between it should embed it (just use the preview button). I have a tutorial in the admin area.
The screenshots of the 125 look great, now I wonder if you can purchase an NPC co-pilot or if one is just given to you and they assist you in flight? The modeling looks great in the screenshots and the universe looks great.
Safe OC up to 7Ghz that is truly amazing. You would think if they could OC it that high why not just step up the chip at the factory and come out with 5-6Ghz chips and get people snatching them up and put pressure on Intel. AMD has to do something innovative because there stock isn’t doing that great and I think the only thing that keeps them really in business is the low prices on their chips and ATI gfx cards.
But I hope to build another machine for myself for Xmas, that’s only if Santa can still afford it after all the kids 🙂

Mod looks interesting from the description and screenshots. I will need to give it a try when I actually find some free time between work, family and SSC. Oh btw Killer you might want to make an official post in the Freelancer area on the site so it will get more attention. I will also add your modding website to my next links update.
I will also be making a flight sim area to more a general area since most users so far have been only interested in space sims I have neglected that area and will start posting info on that as well. Have fun on the site Killer and thanks to the Vanguard team on creating the Antares Mod.

Nice rig Omega. I have been debating whether to go with Phenom II for my next build is it a solid performer for you so far? And Kingston rocks for memory that’s all I ever buy and there support is great.
Damn Omega you have been busy the past few years 🙂 I find it hard enough to feed and clothe them all as it is couldn’t image that many. Ya got me beat.
I am definitely not a CSS expert but this width I have is for the people with resolutions down to 1024×7678 any lower and you start to mess up the template a little. With todays wide widths I sometimes forget there are people that actually don’t have a large screen monitor when laying out the site and get some complaints. But I know what you are saying about wasted space.
I have always wanted to put a moving background on the site. Almost like a flash background os space that moves a little while browsing I always thought it would look great for the site. Just don’t know how to do it and will someday find the time to get it done and try it out.
This portal (stargate portal) just went to v1.0.0 and has a bunch of fixes and features and by far the best portal that I have tried for phpbb3. Worth a shot I have to start playing around with it so I can migrate the site to that version hopefully in the next two weeks.
I looked into various CMS programs and went back to phpbb created CMS. This current one is still beta but RC came out today and this weekend I will start playing with it and getting ready to upgrade to it. But phpbb is very stable and like it a lot and most of the bridges that tied into Drupal or WordPress etc, wasn’t the greatest in stability.
I hoping with the next upgrade to put some pieces into the site that will help with SEO and search engine placement. Since I have $0 advertisement budget better the rankings in the search engines the more people will find this place. I definitely know what your talking about having no time. I don;t have 6 websites but do have 2 websites and 5 kids so I think thats even 🙂
I found your website the other day actually. Never saw the old layout but new one looks nice. I too started my days with Tradewars and Yankee trader (I have a forum dedicated to TW that I need to pay attentyion too). I have both Free Allegiance and B5:IFH in the links area. I just haven’t done an official post on the game put eventually get around to it. Right now just trying to track down the bulk of the recent and under development games.

Nice video and great progress on Galaxy Empire. I will try to get this installed this week sometime and play around with it. Can we put the game in windows mode or take screenshots easily?

It does have it’s own area I just moved it to be a subforum of the general area. I was just trying to keep the most actively developed games with frontpage exposure. If i see FL getting more action I will move it up. But right now just trying to focus on the current games and ones in development to get people talking about them.
That’s some good news. I wish all games could be played on Linux so I could drop MSoft forever. For some reason I thought this already ran on Wine but if not hey it’s better than never.

That does look pretty impressive. And Capt. there has been a few space game mods for FPS games especially using the HL2 and UT3 engines. But your right you have a medevil style game and the last thing you think of is a BSG mod being created from it 🙂

Thanks for checking the site out. Doing our best here to find all the space related games out there and coming soon. I have found so much in the past few months that peoples perception of space sims as a dying genre is wrong. It’s just nobody knows where to find these projects and I am hoping SSC can become a great way to get that information out to everyone.
