Must have played Elite on the Amstrad for months but always like Frontier more, it has a grander sense of scale and oddly I have never been a fan of the 16 bit version of Elite, always prefer the 8 bit game.
Bugs in Frontier, oh the auto pilot which crash you straight into the ground. 🤣
Maybe another reason why we will never see a remake of Frontier as it would outshine the bland ED.

8-bit Elite? That would've been the original BBC Micro version, which is what I had.

And Elite Advanced was my favorite 16 bit version for the good old Amiga. 😍
Mind you Arc Elite was pretty damn cool too it must be said.
