To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hey all,
I recently dug up an old CD with some shareware on it. Found some interesting stuff, including these:
http://www.1337banana.com/storage/EARTHWJ.ZIP
http://www.1337banana.com/storage/GWELL35X.ZIP
http://www.1337banana.com/storage/GAZILL.ZIP
http://www.1337banana.com/storage/SE2V12.ZIP
http://www.1337banana.com/storage/STARS25.ZIP
Some of them work on Windows 7 x64 (gwell, earthworm have been confirmed). I thought I'd post these here for anyone willing to relive some lesser known titles of the old days. I could put the whole iso online of the disc, which contains almost entirely shareware and free titles.
Let me know if you'd want me to put those up here.
FYI, if you don't believe its shareware, then try to fully play stars, se2 and gwell. You will eventually get a game ended due to evaluation thingy with a prompt to buy the game 😉
Sorry for the blatant reply to my own post, but:
Darkone, if you feel like merging it with the top post, feel free to do so.
That Gwell game reminds me of some thing but I can't think what it is.
Would not worry about posting to yourself I do it all the time. :haha:
A friend of mine directly said Asteroids.
No it's was some thing in the last decade it may just has a similar look to GWell.
Stars! I remember playing (the planets had cowboy hats on...)
Pinback: Continuum/Subspace?
