To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Have you played Super Wing Commander on the 3DO, I managed to get the game up and running on the emulator 4DO, but their seems to some issues with the sound and I'm currently looking at using another emulator, if I can get it to work.
But it weird looking at this game as it feels familiar but different at the same time, like it's come from some sort of parallel dimension, where everything is just slightly different.
Have you played Super Wing Commander
Nope! Never even played the original Wing Commander!

You missed out their Cody as Wing Commander is the game that defined the space combat games for next few decades and they still making clones today every now and again.
I remember watching a friend playing it, but back then I was without a computer.
There is a Mac version, too!! I 've heard very good thinks, about Basilisk Mac emulator.
I had no idea that there was an emulator for the Mac, will have to have a look at that.
going to have a go with the Phoenix emulator just have not got around to it yet.
@pinback Mac OS Emulation, in general!!
Nice one CaptainKal will have a look at that.
going to see if a usb joystick will work with the game as I'm not too fond of using the joypad.
