To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Been a while since I looked into Fairspace, I haven't been too much of a fan of MMO based games and looks like according to the last posted message in May 2018 that Fairspace will be discontinuing the MMO servers in early 2019. Looks like the game will be just be single player, which the developer has noted that MMO portion of the game was very under utilized and it makes sense to close down a server.
In my opinion is a good move, but there doesn't look like it has had much in the way of updates since 2016. The developer has mentioned doing something to improve the UI and Graphics in the game, but only time will tell. If the developer can make regular improvements to this game I am sure it will be a regular income stream for him and build a bigger following.
