🙂
Unless something really big was added in the last month the package I put together should be everything they have there. I haven't downloaded all the pieces and looked at them and I actually did setup the mod manager so you didn't have to learn anything to play FFED3D. I will probably do something and make another download next month maybe if there is things in there that are new.
what about a updateable page (only for the main files) like elite-game ones?
i think that's a good idea to have a separate place to download upcoming updates and it would make it also easier for you to manage them because you wouldn't have to setup downloads all the time (completely) new.
packs are a good idea too, but it's hard to update when new things come only "al-ki" 😉
I make them only to make it easy for people. Everything is integrated in and there is no configuration or installation needed. I keep all the files local on my machine so when new things are available I just drop them in and re-zip everything.
But really if you just downloaded any new models/textures or music you would just need to drop into the MODS folder and the mod manager would do the rest for you 🙂
I know what elite games is a good idea to. But you also get a lot of things in those packages that you don't need or just causes confusion for the newb to the whole FFED3D. I'm just trying to simplify the whole process.
