To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hi Spacesimcentral community!
My name is David and I'm developping an Indie game called Farlight Explorers

Looks very promising so far David. Good luck with the game and welcome to SSC! 🙂

You look good through a crosshair.
Thank you!!
This game makes me almost regret buying elite Dangerous. Almost.
Also this game is above what many wish space engineers would be like.
Also have you ever thought about gas planet mining?
Pledged on the indiegogo. Got to know about your game through factorio devs who did some advertising for you guys on their blog 🙂
Very good and very promising - congrats.
Only quibble I have is using indiegogo as a crowdfunding platform - my personal experiences weren't great - but not disastrous either, I just prefer Kickstarter.
Anyway, good luck, I'll be pledging on this game 🙂
Looking very nice Farlight and I am very interested in how the gaming world your building reacts while your not at your station/outpost/planet? Will battles and production and manufacturing continue when your not around to manage it and will you have any controls or insight to these areas when you are away from them?
As always if you need a forum area or gallery on SSC you just need to ask and feel free to upload any demo to the download area.
Just noticed the other week that this is now on Steam and has had a name change to "Farlight Explorers". http://store.steampowered.com/app/352430/
Didn't think this game was still in existence and nice to see if finally made it to steam. Looks like the developer has just recently updated the engine to UE4 so we'll see where it goes from here.
