To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Apropos XCOM and Nintendo:
Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is one of the 3DS games I played more than 20 hours. It has been designed by Julian Gollop (XCOM).
Wow, I didn't know that. It was one of the release titles of the 3DS. I tested it at work <img src="' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//prankster.gi f"' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':prankster:' />
It's does look like it may be the bios unfortunately it not something I wish to fiddle with so it looks like I will not be playing this and as it's the PC version theirs no way to get a refund.

Not sure what your mainboard manufacturer is, but nowadays it is super simple and safe to update the bios. not like 10-15 years ago when you could crash your pc by doing that.
usually you doublecklick an .exe file or a .bat downloaded from the manufacturer in your windows, then reboot, and bios upgrade is done.
It's a Gigabyte bored and I have had a look at the website but as I said it just not something that I want to fiddle with at the moment. If it becomes a problem with other games then I may well give it a go in the future.
