I realised that there is no topic for Vegastrike.
In the beginning of March they released a new version 0.5.1 Beta. I followed the progress of the development for a while till now and this project gets better and better. One of the greatest things about Vegastrike is that it can be used as a framework for any space sim. Privateer Gemini Gold for example used this engine.
