To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

A 3D printed ship from Traveller 😎 😎 given that it is meant to be used with the paper and pen game, it's pretty big and they are starting a kickstarter Free Trader Beowulf Starship by 2nd Dynasty — Kickstarter for it, but you would have to print the ship yourself as I would guess it will take a few weeks/months to print all the parts.
And they have one for the classic scout ship. 😎

I'm new to 3D printing and I'm interested in learning more about 3D printed ships for Traveller. Does anyone have any experience with this or any advice on where to start? Thanks!

That is an exciting project! The Free Trader Beowulf and the classic scout ship from Traveller are iconic vessels, and having 3D printed models for tabletop gaming can really enhance the experience.
