To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Brief Description of what it does:
Smash planets together, introduce rogue stars, and build new worlds from spinning discs of debris. Explore our solar system in 3D or destroy everything you've created with a super massive black hole.
You can simulate and interact with:
Our solar system: the 8 planets,160+ moons, and hundreds of asteroids
Nearest 1000 stars to our Sun
Our local group of galaxies
An unlimited number of fictional scenarios
Tinker with your creation or sit back and watch the effects of gravity unfold. It's fun, accessible, and easy to use.
It's not totally free but you can download the demo and play with it. Check it out and let us know what ya think.
Looks like theres a new version of Universe sandbox on the way,I played the demo of the game
a couple years ago and relly enjoyed it 😀 ,but never got around to getting the full game.It always
reminds me of what an updated map from FFE could be like, thats without the crashing of planets ect.
Is it easy to use or do you need a p.h.d to muck around with it??
Same question was running around in my head also GUNSMIF 😀
first person to answer our question get a cyber pat on the back 😆
any one???? 🙂
As I recall there was a number of tutorials in the game.I might be the only one,but I was impressed by it.
I'm also impressed from what I saw in the vids. But I'm too lazy to try it out atm .... or too bussy with my 3D stuff 😛
Guy must be a math genius 🙂
ok nearly there 🙂 no pat on the back yet though 😆 is it like 3D modeling or a click and drag and spin it about easy interface type affair?
