To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Hi Guys,
I have been meaning to get registered properly since your introduction on The Starport.
Hopefully I will be able to pop by and keep up to date on events over here.
For those of you that don't me I am 'Roo Avery' from The Starport (The number one Freelancer Community site 😉 ). I hold an Admin position on the site and was one of 4 original founding members.
I have been linked with various Freelancer servers and communities over the last 5 years. Most recently;
Havens Admins
Universal Modding - now redirected to The Starport
Lancers Reactor
Topfreelancers 24/7 RP Server
FL:WT (Freelancer - Wartorn) Mod Project
Shattered Worlds
and a few more on top.
If I can assist you guys in anything, please let me know. I am good for answering questions at least 😀
Regards,
Roo
Thanks Roo
See you have been very busy with some modding projects over the years 🙂 I have been wanting to start one of these sites up for a while and finally just did it. It was a shame to see some good sites fade away and some great mods and info lost forever. I am hoping to build a resource site were people can get info on all the games in the space sim gender and stay informed.
But we'll see how I do 🙂 Would love any info that people have to share on mods and remember I have a download area and people are free to upload there mods and scripts for all to enjoy.
I plan on sticking around a while ... now I just got to get the website out there so I can quit talking to myself in the forums 🙂
Enjoy the site Roo and thanks for your staff in building the Freelancer Network.
