To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Looking good and I must try and get back into playing this as it has been a while since I last played the game.
I re-installed to check it out. Apparently this update broke VR. No longer loads into the game, past the main menu.

Looks like their are a few people with the same problem on the steam forum for the game.
Also seen some where that the PS5 version was having problems as well, my PS4 has just downloaded the 5 update for the game so I will have to try it with the VR and see if it works
My PC version of the game is still downloading the update.
I just haven't played this update yet but the game is sitting on my desktop... talk about a refresh from the video. Nice to see that they back ported some of the tech from Light No Fire to NMS.... this at least gives us a hint to what can be possible for LNF when it comes out. Hello Games is creating something very special with NMS sure glad they hung in and kept updating NMS... they have no created a great following for their games. Will try to play more NMS this weekend.
I have figured out that DLSS is the problem. DLSS+VR crashes. So probably something related to the new framegen implementation.
Have to use FSR for now.
