To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

More like shuffles, but yeah... pretty good to still be improving after sixteen years!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Without the efforts of Oolite, FFE3D and Pioneer, who kept plugging away through the dark times, there wouldn't have been a return to mainstream gaming for space sims. All those folk today enjoying Elite Dangerous, No Mans Sky and others only do so because these open source projects kept the genre alive. Credit also to Egosoft for the X series and Vice for Star Wraith Series. They "did their bit" also.
Anyways, yes, a new Oolite build is still something to be welcomed, celebrated even, as it's still a damn fine game!

Just to point out: the Expansions Manager is currently kaputificated due to the move of the Oolite Website from www.oolite.net to www.oolite.space
AND!
The current nightlies are no longer updated for the AppleMac (and possibly not for Linux, either)
To sort out the Expansions Manager issues either (1) go for Oolite Starter instead or (2) if you have the skills, rejig the address for the Expansion Manager downloads (see http://www.aegidian.org/bb/viewtopic.php?p=288785#p288785 and a_c's following post).
