Bahh, started a new game in the latest nightly, went to load up on hydrogen and there was non in stock.....never had that happen before.
Restarted and now hydrogen is aplenty. Who was stockpiling the H?, come on admit it you know who you are.
Surely you are not a member of SPA.
never thought to use them walterar. D'oh.

well at least you were not filling balloons with it for the kids
Well... Did you sell them the ton in your hold at a ridiculously inflated price..?
If not, why not!
balls, never thought to look at the price.
🙂 I don't think they've got that far with the economics yet... In time...
The economics will improve, once it's brought under Lua control. We'll have simple systems, with a decent UI, which allow for such things as bulletin board ads offering high prices for scarce goods. There will also be some profitability to transporting simple stuff, like oxygen and water, from planets up to orbital stations, with more complex goods offering the big profits for interplanetary trade.
Additionally, with the code being in replaceable Lua scripts rather than being compiled into core, it will be extensible and modifiable. Economy mods will be pretty easy to make.
We don't have a timescale yet, but rest assured that it's not being ignored.
