To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

This mod is to test some minor changes to the package and cargo delivery messages. Because packages take up no cargo space, presumably stored in the player's cockpit, it doesn't make sense to me to have "these crates" or a "produce shipment" as descriptions. How many crates could you stash in your cockpit? And what's a produce shipment, a box of tomatoes? I changed the descriptions for these to other items for which you would have a limited time to deliver. Also, in the cargorun module I changed the word "payed", which means to let out a rope or chain, to "paid" which means to settle a debt. "Cargo-Package_mod.zip" is in the main Pioneer downloads folder. Give it a try and see what you think.
I can't even find the download area. 😀 So I can't check it, but I assume you changed the courier mission text (regarding crates/produce shipment), not the cargo run. The later does put actual cargo in your hold.
Why don't you out up a PR? It would be easier to test and incorporate your changes that way.
Click on "SPACESIMCENTRAL" on the upper left to get to the main page, hover over "SpaceSimCentral" on the upper left of that and you'll see your Dashboard. Open that and you'll see "WP File Manager". Click on that and you're there. Simple, yes? :#
In the cargo run module I only changed that one word. If you think it's worth a PR you might have to tell _me_ how to do it. 😀
Thanks! Found it.
I'm not that well versed in git to be able to offer proper help. I usually use the [tutorial on our wiki]( https://pioneerwiki.com/wiki/Using_git_and_GitHub "tutorial on our wiki"), or ask the knowledgeable guys on IRC when I can't figure out something.
