To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Possible bug in Selling illegal goods

Hello everybody,

Well, I was in Chu Starport in 61 Cygni and I accepted a mission to a nearby system (don't remember, sorry, but don't think it's tied to a particular suystem) and by the way I filled up my ship with goods to sell to the destination system.

The illegal goods were "Hand weapons". I can freely buy them at the commodity market in the origin system (61 cygni),

but they were illegal at the destination system, so I have to sell them at a special house like "Andersen goods emporium", where you can buy and sell illegal things at your own risk (police watching) 🙄 .

The Bug:

In the shop, I can't sell my 2 tons of Hand weapons.

I can buy some others and sell them again, but not the 2 remainings tons.

=> You can not sell illegal goods you have bought elsewere.

I'm a running Pioneer in Linux : Debian testing (Squeeze)

Pioneer cloned from git the 02/12/2010 => v7 (minus the modif of generic-make)

Althought I have found this little bug, I am very happy to have Pioneer which is a remarkable quality software

Many thanks for bringing this game to us.

good continuation 😉

Regards
