To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Did you really manage to kill something? Got a video? 😉
It's trivial. Start at the debug point, then launch both missiles.
What's new is the message.

Fair enough, I'm trying to use "lasers" . . . BTW, how do you select and fire a missile?
Ah yes... the old 'Right on, Commander' messages. I like those!
I'm no expert on 'canon', but shouldn't that be the 'Federation of Elite Pilots'?
No.
No.
Press F10 or click the middle of the three buttons at the top right of the control panel, the one that looks like a missile. Then, on the equipment display, click the missile you want to fire.
No.
Indeed! I dug my original FEII box (still complete with 3.5" floppy, manuals, starchart etc) out of the cupboard and checked the manual.
It just didn't seem right when I first read it... still doesn't, to be honest. Hey-ho!
Ah yes, this is another thing I wanted to mention several times, but didn't , because I assume everyone's aware of the situation anyways, but since it's already been brought up, I'll just mention it for protocoll:
Missiles totally need to be keyboard controlable!

Thanks for that!
