Here are conceptual designs for a starship designed using the modules from the International Space Station and a Lunar Tractor designed using the new Lunar Rover from NASA.
The Pilyhas-1 has been a project of mine for nearly five years now. I have even gone to lengths of building a knowledge base based upon the equipment used on the I.S.S. which along with other conceptual designs is kept under lock and key.
The command module is based off of the Orion Capsule. Instead of six command chairs to carry astronaughts into space the module has been redesigned to allow for three command flight crew. The Commander, Pilot and Co-Pilot along with an extra seat for the ships engineer.
The second deck contains sleeping quarters and storage equipment lockers for the Command Crews personal gear along with the through module connecting hatch system that runs from the front of the capsule and connects with the first module which is the emergency lifeboat section
The emergency lifeboat section is actually a Node 3 module that contains all of the life sustaining equipment necessary in case of emergency separation. Although not shown the Command Capsule and the ELS are connected together as a single unit where solar panels normally part of the Orion Command Module would deploy to provide electrical power in case of emergency.
Also not show are the emergency thruster units that would fire and steer the ELS to a heading that would put it into a trajectory with the closest station or rescue point.
From here on out the ship becomes fully upgradeable to suit the nature of the mission. The first module the Unity module which is a small module that would be used to attach cargo modules to as well as providing a place for a connection point to be added for ship to ship or ship to station connections to be made. The next module would be another Node 3 Habitat module to further increase the survivability of the crew. The next module in line would be a Node 2 module that would have HEM C and HEM D modules attached to it for the crew to have a place to sleep along with a module where meetings and other activities would take place.
The next module would be the Jules Verne Engineering Module where all of the fuel for the manuevering thrusters would be located. During normal operations fuel bottles stored at various locations throughout the ship would be filled prior to the ship launching with the emergency lifeboat section fuel bottles being filled in the ELS and then cut off from use so that the emergency fuel would not be used unless needed.
The Jules Verne Engineering Section is mirrored on itself in two sections with both sections being connected together with a modified EVA hatch system from the I.S.S.

EVA Joint Quest Airlock - http://esamultimedia.esa.int/docs/columbus/infokit/english/07_EVASupportInformation_new.pdf
In the image you can see the EVA hatch. On the Pilyhas-1 model there would be two equipment locker sections that would connect the two Jules Verne sections together with truss based on the I.S.S. providing additional torquing support.
The EVA Hatch would allow for space walks to repair sections of the ship along with other operations at a space dock or space related.
The engine suit of the Pilyhas-1 is the VASIMR Engine.

The SEV Tractor is basically a Lunar Rover modified to be used the same way that a Semi - Tractor would work on Earth. The hitch would connect to the first trailer that would then connect in tandem with other trailers such as cargo trailers or habitat trailers that could then be hauled from one location to another.
The really cool thing about both models especially the Pilyhas-1 is that both models work because they are based off of real world designs and engineering.
The first drawing is the initial conceptual design of the Pilyhas-1. The second image is of the Pilyhas-1 designed in Sketch Up and the third image is the conceptual design for the Lunar Tractor SEV.
