To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Just wondering who from SSC is going to be playing from the get go and would like to join up to do group stuff or start a guild at some point?
I'm really excited for the game played it in a few of the beta events and loved it so will be playing it alot and would love to play with like minded folk.

I will have to see after the holidays on whether I will have time to play. I also need to sit down and write something up on my beta experiences in the game as well. But moving this week and will have no time.
I'm currently playing it republic side and chose the US Est PvE Server Canderous Ordo. So far my trooper is lvl 27 and loads of fun.
Also have an alt on an EU server to play with friends and surprisingly, the ping connecting to an EU server from the US isnt bad at all. Spikes up to 200ms at times.
Is the game like WoW?

Quests, yup. Everything is fully voiced too with amazing voice acting.
Daily quests, yup those are there too.
No arena, but there are instances/battlegrounds/raids.
So yes, its pretty much like wow with a better graphics engine and a starwars ip.
