To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

I was trolling through the SFRU forums and there was a discussion that early hidden feature for LAN has been found and may be usable. Here is a very brief description:
1. Start game on both computers
2. While in the main menu open console
3. Start server on one computer (StartServer)
4. Start client on the other computer (StartClient)
5. On server load a map
6. List all games on client (ListGames)
6. Connect from client to sever (Join # - # is server number)
7. Play
If anyone has some extra time or can elaborate on these please do.
I never even knew there was a way to play SFRU on a LAN. I will have to try and figure this one out.
