Oh god another 2 hour one and that reminds me I must turn off updates on Steam for this game as the last one was about 30GB and I'm not downloading it until they finish it.

Completely missed this announcement a couple of weeks ago but their is an updated demo on the Steam page to try out. 

Hope this time it's not a rogulike but a real space sim.

Open world space combat game, bought into it a few months ago but have not played it as I'm waiting for them to finish it.

Uses the same control method as the first game where you have to keep you finger on the "W" key to move forward.

Believe he is playing with a controller would explain the smooth movements of the ship.... that might be the preferred method to play this one because you do a lot of side movements in this game to engage the targets effectively.

I found that the WASD set up works well in the Everspace games as in both games the actual space you move or play in is very small, when the control scheme is applied to more open world game, it's a total fail.

I quickly skimmed this video, but I am definitely liking the environment can have effects on your ship/you its a nice touch. And as always this game looks great, hats off to the art team putting this one together. To the dev team, you know you could have described all this in a 20min video 😉

I've not watched the vids, but I wouldn't buy a second-hand car off that guy!

Looks like Everspace 2 is shaping up to be something really special.

All videos need to be like the recap videos that other one is 2+ hours ... haha I skimmed that one and there is definitely more content and mechanics going into Everspace 2. The fluidness of the combat look great from the videos.
