To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Oh I need to tell my son about this one, looks cool. My son has hundreds of hours in this game he will spend hours making a ship.
And it looks like space engineers is going on PlayStation 4 and 5, more about it here Announcing Space Engineers on PlayStation | Space engineers (spaceengineersgame.com)
I do believe that you can pre order this now for the PS4/5.
@pinback More of a Lego builder, than a game, I think!!!
Always being my problem with this type of game, just never being able to get into the whole building aspect of the game.
Some sort of update to the game looks to be aimed at player v player combat.
My son purchases all the DLC for this game, he loves building the ships and him and his friends battle their creations together. He wants Starfield now after seeing the ship builds people are creating in the game.
But Space Engineers has been consistently putting out small DLC content packs for years now making a solid game. I been hearing things that a sequel of some sorts to Space Engineers is in the works because they are working on a new engine (vrage 3).
Interesting that they maybe working on a sequel to the game as they just released a video marking the 10th anniversary of the game.
I think a lot of people underestimate this game, from a construction/building aspect its very solid. If they can work on the universe and space combat more this would be a great game and is really what I think they should focus on for Space Engineers 2.
Well I be damned, ten years of space engineers, I still remember seeing that video of the two ships crashing into each other and being pretty impressed by the physics of it.
But have to admit I have not played it in years.
Now with rockets.
New update (Contact) lots of new things you use in this update:
Not sure if their is a post for this but the sequel is on the way.
If you are not into designing and building, is it worth playing solo?
