To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

You guys should really check this game out if you havent yet. It looks amazing. I currently play Eve Online and this looks much more hands on. Graphics are going to push the PC to its limits.

I honestly don't know why I had not heard of this game until recently <img src="' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_biggrin.gi f"' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

If you like freelancer this is basically the sequel you couldn't even dream of.

Hell, I didn't even know about the 40 day kickstarter.com fundraiser to get 2 million dollars in to start this thing. I would have been there front and center, but thank god for the big pocket book of a couple die-hard fans. Better late than never; I was so thrilled to throw my coin at this project.

I did have the kickstarter image up for a good 2-3wks on the mainpage, did our part. But most of us here knew about this a little while before the kickstarter was even thought of <img src="' http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gi f"' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Definitely great to see the attention Star Citizen received and now everyone is hoping that Chris Roberts and Company can knock our socks off with this one.
