To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Game has been released from Steams early access today. http://www.iceberg-games.com/index.php?dispatch=news.list
Haarlem, The Netherlands – September 22, 2014 – Iceberg Interactive and Little Green Men Games announced today the launch date of their hugely popular, community-driven space sim-RPG Starpoint Gemini 2. Starpoint Gemini 2 will be released on Steam Friday, September 26, 2014.
Hopefully Iceberg will have their act together and the boxed version will not be too far behind this.
On steam the release notes had the game was x.8004 and then jumped to 1.000 just over a week later, I hope they didn't rush something and then a flood of patches are coming? One positive note is that the feedback on steam is pretty positive, I will get around to getting this soon. But LGM looks like they have improved every aspect from the first game and have done a good job.
already 1.0006 😀
Not had much of a chance to get to grips with the game yet but have noticed that it seems to stutter or pause when getting close to a planet or going into a new sector also I get some weird blurring effect on the planets some time which make the menus impossible to read.
