To all SSC Station occupants

Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.

Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Some interesting comments about how they have had to redesign the game and move away from the economic simulation of the old games.

Can’t help myself but the more I find out about the new X game the more I.am being drawn in, just hope is not all hype.

And they should still change the name as X Rebirth is a crappy name.

Of course it's hype, but I have to admit the prospect of being able to interact the with crew and the ship itself would be very cool indeed. Worth watching methinks 😉

Agree with you totally on this. Thing I like most besides the crew member interaction is the VR headset and being able to do some espionage with probes or remote control torpedoes to their destination. I kinda like the whole one ship aspect of the game, I always thought control of many ships a bit too time consuming.

Like I have said in the past I have never technically finished a X game and hope this can be my first.
