To all SSC Station occupants
Thank you for the donations over the past year (2024), it is much appreciated. I am still trying to figure out how to migrate the forums to another community software (probably phpbb) but in the meantime I have updated the forum software to the latest version. SSC has been around a while so their is some very long time members here still using the site, thanks for making SSC home and sorry I haven't been as vocal as I should be in the forums I will try to improve my posting frequency.
Thank you again to all of the members that do take the time to donate a little, it helps keep this station functioning on the outer reaches of space.

Today EGOSOFT announces the new expansion “Home of Light†as well as update 4.0 for X Rebirth, both to be released in February 2016!

I guess I don't get my wish of remade station interiors and NPC interactions. 🙂
I understand growing the game universe and DLC, but they may also pickup new users if they refine the experience more. I like flying around in space, but sometimes I like to spend time on a station and interact with NPC's and the station itself. Make that more interactive and I think people will enjoy it. Mass Effect I think has done the best job yet for NPC interactions in a Scifi game and you almost looked forward docking at new stations or outposts for the interactions.
I will be interested in seeing a trailer for the new DLC, but its nice that they are still patching and adding features (just not the things I want...), maybe SSC should submit a petition to Egosoft 🙂

Some nice videos, I wouldn't mind seeing a video of it in action. But not a bad price right now of $7.99.
Bought the pre-order although I understand that you can get access to the beta they are running at the moment if you sign up through the X forums.
I am not 100% sure but wasn't X Rebirth is scheduled for a release on GOG also? Maybe I am getting mixed up with something else? :girldrunk:
Will be downloading it at the weekend but I don't think I will be playing it for a while as it will require another game start and I'm enjoying Evochron Legacy at the moment.
