RE: SPG1 vs SPG2 comparison

Having finished SPG 1, I'm glad to hear, that in SPG 2, I might see again some fellow RPG's. Reason to buy the Sequel. Looking forward, I might find it on some shelf in Bangkok.

To Geraldine: THX for your link via subsim, I found and downloaded " Galaxias " have to try it out. I hope I will like it. SPG is not too bad, but playing spacegames some ...

RE: Can't play your old DOS games?

I have most all of my old Amiga games running with Dos Box. Some are fairly good playable, some others not or not at all! On most of them, the graphics were much better with the Amiga then under Windows

RE: The Halley Project

I played this game on the AMIGA. I did like it very much. Targeting a planet far out was somehow tricky. You had to take account of the target's own rotation around the sun. You could not just point the target and go!

RE: Games that deserve a remake!

<t>Besides Elite?.. Oh wait ;)I'd like to see a remake of Millenium 2.1 / Deuteros. A blend of base/resource management and interplanetary expansion.I played Millennium 2002 and Deuteros on AMIGA and I liked them, I consider these two games worthy for a remake und4er Windows. BTW, there is a remake ...

RE: Greetings from Laos

Hi Cody, most probably what you v'e played in the early 90s, must have been " Silent Service II ". I v'e played this first on AMIGA, then it was released for PC. At exactly that period, I switched from AMIGA to 486 DX 64, who was then my first PC.BTW, have you seen " Laconia " on TV or DVD ?

RE: Greetings from Laos

<t>Hi Cody,Don't waste money for SH4, this game was dead-born, when it came out. Graphics were improved, but the ergonomy , which you knew very well from SH3, completly changed. In a way not playable. I can only advise you, go with SH3, it's still the most successful sub-game. SH4 takes place in the ...

RE: Greetings from Laos

With LSH and CcoM you may make it at the best case to escape to Buenos Aires. The war is over, yourself still at sea, and are summoned by radio to surrender ...

Greetings from Laos

<t>Having started to play SPG, came across some irregularities in-game, and finally had the need to join a forum to discuss different matters and various issues concerning SPG. I'm a gamer since the time of the Amiga! I think, my first space games were Millennium 2002 and the sequel Deuterios ...
