RE: A rant on the new Star Wars canon and "TFA SPOILERS"
<t>Everyone knows the EU has a lot of shit sprinkled in with the gems. I'm not caring about that though. Of course the prequels are canon, but I can't stand how pre TPM isn't even canon anymore, it's just silly, especially since TOR still has frequent expansion packs come out from EA. I completely ...

RE: A rant on the new Star Wars canon and "TFA SPOILERS"
Well yeah it hit all of the right notes for nostalgia, but the rewritten EU elements were bad. I enjoyed the movie, I'm just sad to see something that i grew up on destroyed.

RE: Share your most disappointing game purchases
<t>You know.... if I'm going to talk about a game for just its vanilla gameplay and its hype I'm going with Battlefront II: This game was so overhyped. It had you believing you were going to be able to shot a pod into the side of a ship and have a squad wipe everyone out. it ended up having the ...

RE: What Game Have You Bought.
<t>MineCraft is a great little game. The modding community can also compare to the Doom and Wolfenstein 3D modding community since theres just so much stuff that modders have added! recently bought Dawn of War and all of the expansions! I still don't have a computer anymore, but I play them at work ...

Wow! This looks like a decent movie... and not just because I'm a fan of Antonio Banderas, though I don't see why everything has to be an action movie nowadays.

The Cinematogtaphy was incredible! We all know about the accurate representation of a black hole before the twist, and that was just amazing! The ending and twist of the black hole being a machine was just really... fucking.... stupid!

RE: Mad Max: Fury Road
Holy shit was this good! This can definitely be compared to Road Warrior! I know I'm a bit late on this, but wow! This was a superb addition to the Mad Max saga. The fact that Max is played by Tom Hardy instead of Mel Gibson was almost unnoticeable. the theme was done just right!

RE: The Martian
<t>This movie was FANTASTIC! It was a great hard scifi movie, that could definitely be compared to 2001, the Day The Earth Stood Still, etc. It wasn't overly convoluted and in the end dumb like Interstellar and it absolutely shits on Gravity. Thank you Ridley Scott! Prometheus wasn't awful, but it ...

RE: Closer to GOD
Really........ At the beginning this looks like it could be a nice return to Hard SciFi, like The Martian was, but then it starts to turn into a typical horror trailer.... Fuck you hollywood.

Oh! I also forgot aboot the original Stargate creator making a new one, ignoring all of the universe that was created by SG1, the SG1 movies, Atlantis and the sadly cancelled Universe.

It's definitely a bad time to be a SciFi fan. between this unnecessary sequel, The Force Awakens and JJ trek, it fucking hurts!

RE: Jupiter Ascending
<t>It was.... interesting. It had some cool points, but by the end of it all, it was a little too comedic and stupid. I enjoyed watching it once, but I'll never go out of my way to watch it again. It definitely surprised me how poor this movie was compared to the Matrix Trilogy and V for Vendetta ...

A rant on the new Star Wars canon and "TFA SPOILERS"
<t>So... the new movie was huge, Star Wars is popular again and Disney is making boatloads of money off of Star Wars... but is it all worth it? I'll admit, I was drinking while writing this, so please excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes. I can't excuse the bitterness, I'm bitter aboot this, even ...

RE: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Official Trailer)
<t>*SOME SPOILERS* While the movie wasn't terrible.... I'll admit I died a bit inside. Like Star Trek, I grew up on Star Wars, so of course the EU that was built by LucasArts games, DarkHorse comics, Timothy Zahn, other talented authors and unfortunately a lot of shit is just as much Star Wars as ...

RE: Star Trek Beyond
<t>I did like the first Jar Jar Abrahms Star Trek, but Khan 2.0 was god awful and this is looking to be the same. I don't have as much as a problem with the new Trek as I do with the new Star Wars, simply because JJ Trek doesn't overwrite everything that has happened in both the Trek EU, shows and ...

Well Norway is still pretty damn free and empty. Only 5 million people and 50% of the country is still untouched. Problem is ota difficult to get in. Get rich and find a hot Norwegian bride is the best course.
