RE: X3: Terran Conflict beginners guide (complete)
Very nice guide Waervyn, I will have to sit down and listen to all these when I get a chance, maybe it will prompt me to stay with and finish an X game for the first time ever :)Thanks! Not sure if you can truly ever finish an X-game though

RE: Limit Theory: An Infinite, Procedural Space Game
Really glad he's back, but I hope he doesn't push himself too much. I'd much rather see this game come out a year late than not at all. His development logs on youtube were amazing to follow.

RE: Galactic civs 3
<t>Bought this when released. I haven't been disappointed at all. It plays quite nicely (good ui etc.), the ship designer is loads of fun, and there's lots of things to do. It's not super different from 2, but different enough I'd say. That said it's a shame there's no espionage etc. yet, so in a ...

RE: Project Aura
<t>I've bought it a while ago, but at the moment I can't really recommend it yet. It's very obtuse and not that interesting (although to be fair I haven't been able to play in 2 months and it had some updates). That said, I think the game shows a lot of promise, so I don't necessarily regret ...

X3: Terran Conflict beginners guide (complete)
<t>Heya! After lots of recording I finally finished my X3: TC guide for beginner's. We go from rags to riches over 13 episodes, while I explain all relevant game mechanics. [/url] Hope it's useful to some people! Questions, comments and constructive criticism are always welcome! I'm currently also ...

Aurora4x
<t>Anyone of you play Aurora 4x?It looks extremely daunting, but it might be something I could get in to. People compare it to the Dwarf Fortress of the 4x genre, which immediately peaked my interest. It look extremely boring, but apparently it's amazingly deep!http://www.pcworld.com/article/243397 ...

RE: E:D on Steam
<r>Good to hear they are giving out steam-keys. I personally don't care too much, but I must say I enjoy using steam with the overlay, hours tracked etc. That said, I hope the game itself becomes a bit more fun to play, as for me they still haven't really fixed the 'nothing to do' issue. The ...

RE: Ascent - The Space Game
<r>I've been playing this for about 2 months now. It's well done, and you can definitely see the improvents the new graphic artist made (and is still making). The ability to seamlessly land on planets and building colonies there is really something special, at least not something I've seen in other ...
RE: Rodina
<r>Thanks for the reply!Sorry to ask, what is the aim you have with the game in the future?According to the description on your site it's mostly exploring and combat. While I like exploring in a sense, exploring for the sake of exploring gets old quickly (oeeeh, this planet is blue, while the other ...
RE: Rodina
<r>Hello! I've seen Rodina on steam, and it really looks nice. However, most of the reviews I've read are not super useful as they boil down to 'oeee pretty, oeeeh you can land on planets'. Of course that's great and immersive, but I'm wondering about gameplay. Are there already things to do to keep ...

Hello everyone! Hyvää päivää!
<r>Hey everyone!I thought I'd introduce myself! I guess my first real encounter with space games was with Freespace 2 quite some years ago (still love that game). I really enjoy astronomy, and prefer my games to be heavier on the simulation side than on the combat side (that said FS2 will always ...
