Well even not got a CC so even can not buy it yet if I want to.I also wonder if I would like it. No experience with Elite series. No retro gamer. But I did play in the past lot air combat sims. I do not play them any more.So I would not like it that much if space sim is planes in space.

<t>I think as more of these very successful crowd funding projects come to market the big publishers will be doing that in their board rooms trying to figure out why a game they didn't publish is in the top spot. Consumers are changing the game on the big boys and its kinda nice for a change :)I ...

<t>Wenn I think of a occulust rift combat optimized game.I think of the latest jetfighters. With split second important hud info in helm . A cockpit with a extreem open view. Could look up to backwards. In my opinion the whole target isue is followed and handled with the pilots helm. Less split minut ...

RE: Firefly game survey
<t>I would analise the TV show and look what game type mimics firefly. The core characters are the firefly crew. Wich do smugling and other illegal stuff and are wanted. So personaly I preferer FPS but TPS wil do to. Single and co-op play. In a sandbox game.A mix of red redemption and mass effected ...

RE: Limit Theory: An Infinite, Procedural Space Game
<t>Well procedural generagon is more a must for a small or one men team. If you gonna make a content heavy game without a army of artist. That why it much more popular with the small programming focused little teams. Doing something bigger. For me it is also the only way to go. But it does sound ...

RE: Planetary Rendering: Outerra and more
<t>Well this planet side procedural enigine is very cool. To me it shows they know the procedural aproach. But making a space sim that stand out is another thing. And this feature is very optional to that as space sim core play is in space. Planet side landing or seamless planetside flight is icing ...

<t>Well the good thing about Xseries are the in depth and wealth of features wich offers a multitude of gameplay options. But a GUI that make it all very unaccesable. <t>My opinion. Well I disagree with this astro dude. It's about chance and statisticks. There something like goldylock zone.we got one planet in it and most out side.Wich means that most planets are indeed very extreem positioned. So exclude at least 95% We discover first the most large and close to ...
