RE: Combat musings
<r>Let me ask a rather provokative question: Isn't combat in space completely pointless? I mean if a ship has the energy capacity of doing hyperspace jumps it for sure has the necessary amount of energy to immediately destroy enemy ships. On the other hand, those enemy ships do have the energy of ...

<t>just one question @ s2odan:what exactly did you change on the terrain generation code when you made this video on youtube? Is it just more detail? i have the feeling that the colors look much more realistic and that the terrain is less scattered than in the recent version of pioneer. i am just ...

RE: 3D Galaxy
<r>hey guys, haven't played this one for some time now and came back to check out the newest nightly build. the new galaxy map is great so far. but for me, navigation got very complicated now. i think we need a good navigation system that shows the shortest (and optional safest) route from one system ...
RE: Get a Job
Great idea! So your first owned ship will be something like this interplanetary shuttle then. I always liked the idea of not being able to leave your homesystem in the first few hours of the game before stepping out in infinite space!

It's obvious that this project still has a long way to go. However, he started this one 2 years ago and look at the result. If somebody can do it, then he's the one.

So, we all know now what you'd like to see in the game, that is fine and would be fun, for sure. However, there is no sense in bringing up this topic again ...
