RE: Enterprise Refit

<t>I've just installed Blender and imported the model into it. Impressive program seen the fact it's in the GNU. But, I don't have any experience in modeling and the interface is a bit alien to me.But if anyone ever feels (s)he would like an Enterprise refit, even a very simple one, I'd love to work ...

<r>I've read that Pioneer can handle Blender designs ... now I'm wondering, could this NCC-1701 Refit somehow work in Pioneer or does it exceed the possibilities of the engine?<YOUTUBE id="r3Vn9yJ2Olo"><s></e></YOUTUBE> far my favourite ...

RE: Completed Pioneer Models

Great! I want it! I like ships that are hard to steer. I'd even like a beta, would you mind giving me the opportunity to d/l it?I fly Orbiter a lot so I'm more used to 20th/21st century stuff than 33rd century.

<t>The richer ye are, the more crooks ye get after ya. That should be easy to implement, right? Can also be done with Elite status/rank/political influence. Some con artist that sells ye grain with tribbles, a ship with a hyperdrive that's been tampered with ... it would've been the end for ya if ye ...

<t>If you want a plot for a gigantic intergalactic war, just drop in some deus ex machina like the Genesis device. It would even attract the Ori (playing for God, naughty humans!)To make Mars believable as a terraformed planet I think you'd need some external shield that deflects the solar wind and ...

<r>In my opinion ...The most effective, intelligent and enjoyable concepts of combat were implemented with Star Trek Klingon Academy and Star Trek Bridgecommander. I've spent far more hours using these while I used Frontier and FFE for exploration. But that means: A: a lot of subsystems that you can ...

RE: Implementation of Black Holes and rewards for visiting them.

I know a way to defy the gravity of a black hole: find the Higgs-boson and learn how to manipulate the Higgs field in such a manner that all particles lose mass. Bonus: Instant acceleration & deceleration from 0 to lightspeed and back without any G forces.:D

<t>The use of real starcharts could be nice, 3000 known stars are more than enough. But then the use of the star map in Pioneer would be obsolete. A button so most of the nearby stars on the standard view would receive labels in changing colour for hyperspace range would probably suffice, together ...

The stderr.txt says "Could not load data/icons/volume_unmuted.png"Allright, that's true because there isn't one. But neither in Alpha12.
