Hello. I know this thread is ancient, but I had exactly same problem and solved it by disabling DGA mouse support. Tryexport SDL_VIDEO_FULLSCREEN_HEAD=1export SDL_VIDEO_X11_DGAMOUSE=0before running the game.

Then we should take over and won't let it die! At least that's my plan, but first, I have to get it running...

Well, I have newest version in my distro (debian squeeze), but linux intel drivers are still in development...It's good to know that the card itself supports it, though. There is still hope
