<t>Edit: Just noticed that there are 3 copies of this thread. Please apologize. When I tried to submit my post, I got an error message saying something like "gerneral server error 500" or so. I retried twice before I noticed that the error didn't prevent the posts from appearing on the forum. To the ...

RE: Issue tracker now available
<t>Thanks Brianette. Both Alpha 27 and 28 appear to be ok now.The problem was caused by the file brian.zip in the pioneer folder within documents. I don't know (or remember) how this file got there. The file date is 5/14/2012. Within this ZIP there is only one file "modulespioneer brian.lua", dated ...

<t>sscadmin: Just saw your reply. I am now able to download Starshatter again - thanks. It's always nice to know the rules you're supposed to play by <img src="'http://spacesimcentral.com/forum/public/style_emoticons//icon_e_smile.gif class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />.However, i have ...

RE: Starshatter Downloads
<t>Thanks sscadmin, I appreciate what you’re saying. That said, I can’t see how I could have downloaded 1.5 GB in August. Unless your system counts attempted as accomplished downloads - in that case, 3 attempts to download Starshatter would use up the quota. I had started the download, noticed ...

RE: Starshatter Downloads
<t>Great! I had started to download Starshatter 5.0.5, and left my PC alone for a while. When I came back, I noticed the download had stopped at 35 MB because, so a message said, I had been inactive for 10 minutes. Because I didn't see a way to resume the download, I restarted it - and was told this ...

RE: Nightly builds
I noticed that the most recent nightly builds are released without the 2 exe files (and the last pioneer.exe provided one or two weeks ago obviously doesn't work with the later builds).Deliberately or not? Have I missed an announcement? What can I do to use the nightly builds?

RE: Explorer mode - and a Frontier question
<t>Luomu: I wasn't expressing myself clearly enough, I apologize. When I said "get rid of pirate attacks completely", I meant the Frontier games, not Pioneer - where I still haven't been attacked by a pirate, luckily. Nevertheless, it's good to know that disabling the pirates lua would resolve that ...

RE: Explorer mode - and a Frontier question
<r>Very nice, guys! Thanks for the advice and the links, I'm going to try to edit my ship - let's see how it goes.On the downside, there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the pirate attacks completely? Like I said, most of them are a nuisance rather than really dangerous, and I can handle them ...

Explorer mode - and a Frontier question
<t>I'm a veteran of the old Elite and Frontier days, and I've been following Pioneer for a couple of months now. I must say I'm fascinated! Because of the game itself and the enthusiasm of its developers and fans. Thanks a lot guys! What I like most is that I can travel through the galaxy, discover ...

<t>Thanks guys - fix works.Regarding your questions and comments:- Yes, I do download the builds from that link.- Yes, the problem did not appear before alpha 23.- I had updated my graphics drivers only about a couple of weeks ago. RE: Issue tracker now available
<t>This concerns the alpha 23 builds only (from the beginning of alpha 23 - I was hoping the problem would go away after a couple of builds): CTD when pressing F2 (map), with shader only, no error message. Without shader, everything is fine. I have never seen this happening with alpha 22 or older. My ...
