While we still don’t know if a Freespace 3 is in the works, Interplay has sanctioned a Kickstarter campaign for Freespace Tactics, a tabletop game set to revive the long-hibernating series. Who knows we might even get to see a Freespace 3. "Edit" Just spotted this comment in the comments section on the Kickstarter. Creator Part of why we are doing with this project is to gauge interest in the FreeSpace universe. If this is successful, it will certainly help us get a couple steps closer to a new PC game. Or is it just a marketing gimmick to get the funding?.
