Paul McCartney also a fan of Little Richard.
The Beatles opened for Little Richard a few times. My favourite Beatles song? For No One, sung by Emmylou Harris...

Much as I love Sgt. Pepper's and Abbey Road, Revolver was their best album.

@impaktor
You should contact King Haggis and try to get his classic video on your channel.
Also, Gernot, the creator of this thread no less, did a whole load of them too like this very cool one.

While the bass guitarist was playing sax, the multi-talented Grace Slick was playing bass...
I'll follow that with Grace Slick as singer/songwriter...
A music critic once said "Jefferson Airplane build a wall of sound, with Grace Slick's voice perched on top."

First heard this in the early 80's
Takes Off was recorded before Grace Slick joined the band. Good album, is that. Jefferson Starship's debut album was Dragon Fly, from which I'll play Hyperdrive (used in the opening ceremonies of the 1976 World Science Fiction Convention). '70s hippy tosh at its finest!
