Someone told me about a tune called Shady Grove the other day, said it's a Bluegrass tune that has a strong hint of Irish to it. Listened to a version by Doc Watson which is good, but this was also in the list

Shady Grove is an old folk song, and there are many versions/variants. This is the rock version...

Another early hit from Depeche Mode which I probably didn't rate at the time it was released / in the charts, but sounds perfectly OK these days.

Spring? Just a Season from Untitled, which is probably The Byrds' best album!

Followed by Eight Miles High from the same album.

There's some fine guitar work (and a great bass solo) in that track!

A country version of a punk classic? How about a punk version of a country classic?

Interesting sound, Gary Holton & Casino Steel - Norwegian prog, with a Cockney twist.
