It's here!Pioneer Scout+ G6 version News This month, we add a new spacecraft, "Hullcutter Federation" One version, renamed, and rebalanced for the proper functioning within Scout +, of the ship "hullcutter" by Gernot Schrader (aka Potsmoke66), whom we remember with great affection, published in SSC and I found thanks to the Tourist notice. It is a beautiful ship, many will love. I was always amazed see great "skyscrapers" in absolutly inhospitable places, without protected, and circling dangerously the space stations. With climates and atmospheres absolutely adverse for human life, I believe that cities are built underground. From this version, the buildings are more in keeping with the environment. Although, if you want you can restore the "skyscrapers" with this addition: zz-PSpG6-SkyscraperOn.zip Scout+ is translated to the Russian language, thanks to the kindness of sapog662 Improved billing meter system of rewards, tariff. Best reward farther from Sol Improved combat system. The attackers appear closer now. Other changes accompany the improvements in core Pioneer. The hostile ships now appear in the scanner at a distance of between 10 and 20 km in the danger level 1. And between 5 and 10 km in the danger level 2. Before 50-100 and 25-50 respectively. But download the mod again because this was a last minute change and I forgot to change that in the mod posted. I just fix it. "errare vulcanum est" :D

Can I request of you to write a script that would, if multiple failed quests, the player is declared in the crime?

@sapog662 Yes. I'm working on the efficiency rating of civilian pilot in some high-risk missions. There could be awards and punishments.

In alpha3 of paragon it will have its own userdirectory, so it should be able to use this great mod without interfering with pioneer or genesia versions.

I like the shorter buildings. They make the city seem like they are a bit more vast. IMO, there are a couple of shortcomings: it happens more often to find building buried in the ground, and it reduces variety (and, at the moment, we don't have very much variety in the cities). I think that, to have some variations, some little groups of skyscrapers should remain.Maybe, the cities should be reorganizied in a more rational way, with the starport being placed outside the main city (who wants to live in a place near those architectural monsters that covers most of sky and with all those ships constantly coming and going away? :biggrin: ), or someway isolated.

Imagine." :wizard: That was the explanation I gave my 10 year old grandson. I had no complaints. He loves his grandfather. :codemafia: For the rest, I agree with you but, it is what allows the kernel code, so far. :warning:

Warning! The file of the 201306.17 version of Pioneer linux32 on SourceForge is corrupt. Reported in issue #2335 to GitHub. Do not download this versión to Linux32 until they @robn fix this. Versions for Win32 and Linux64 work correctly.

You can download the 201306.17 version of Pioneer Space Sim for Linux32 robn has fixed the problem.

Pioneer is back in OSX. In addition, major changes now allow Pioneer run on Linux without having to install dependencies "difficult". This is good news for users of Ubuntu LTS (12.04) Download the new version of Pioneer Space Sim 1306.21 from here: Win32 Linux32 Linux64 OSX Then, download and install Scout+ to here: PioneerScoutPlus-G6 Continue to enjoy! :)

Wow... just tried out the linux32 version and not only did it work flawlessly I got a pretty decent performance boost compared to win32... even in windows!

@NeuralKernel This is an excellent work robn, who has managed that work Pioneer, natively, in Ubuntu LTS (and others) easily. Just need to try it. ping @Marcel :)

Surely you mean a favorite of my grandson, the "Inter Shuttle". One of the latest works by Gernot, an artist crazy, missing in action.:)

I just had an idea for more kinds of scout missions :) Hacking missions Just like scout missions, but with more risks. You have to sabotage/steal data from bulk ships/big ships/spaceports's computers.Maybe you could need a special equipment, or just use the Radar Mapper like in scout missions. You have to go near your target, start the hacking process and wait. If you are far there's more lag, so the process will take more time. You could hire a hacker into you crew to speed up the process. There's a chance to be caught. In that case, you'll have to fight, or your ship could be counter-hacked (some equipment will be damaged).More difficult mission are with moving targets (ships). You have to approach them and keep some distance while the process is working.

@Tichi A game is a world with its own rules. A golden rule in Scout+ is "Crime does not pay".John Scout (or Johanna Scout) is not a vigilante or a criminal.He (or she) is a war orphan in search of his destiny. His father was a hero. But do not worry, in Scout+ G7, hackers appear along the way. :mail:
