New lights, not sure if it add much apart from making the dark arears lighter and it looks like it sharpen the image up.

This DLC is officially released now

I seen that it was out and I thought it about time that I started playing game, only to find that Steam had decided to download it again.
Why: no idea but it annoying. 

New DLC on the way next year, was just going to start playing this but it on the back burner again while I play Starfield.

The details of the new DLC are now on Steam but no news as to when it will be released.

Wraith of the Ancients will be the next DLC for EverSpace 2, which should be out before the end of June

Just seen a post from Rockfish saying the DLC will be out on May 12th.

@pinback I still haven't finished the first one!!

Haha.... the first is hard to finish if you want to 'really complete' it because you have to kind of play it multiple times to truly finish it and I wasn't willing to do that but it definitely had its tough moments and expect to die a few times until you build your skills up. I haven't played ES2 yet but this doesn't seem to be like the first, the first one has more rogue-like game play mechanics where ES2 is more open world.

And the DLC come out yesterday.
I gave up with the first one after a numerous attempts.  

Blast a 20GB update with no patch notes to tell you what it is? but probably something to do with the DLC.
