I decided to make today a model of the Apollo Lunar Module after seeing the free-download one on Nasa's website has like 100k+ polys. My version has 18k, it's more detailed, cleaner poly flow, cooler and has many other such attributes, so yeah take that NASA !! :D :D hehe Now I just need to make a basic uv-unwrap for it, place a texture and put it up on the server for download cause I remember someone actually asked me for this exact model about a month ago, so I guess people are using this one.

Just finished the work on my ALSEP collection that goes hand in hand with my previous model, the Lunar Module. ALSEP is short for "Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package" and these were used by the astronauts on their missions on the moon. http://www.solcommand.com/2013/02/alsep-apollo-lunar-surface-experiments.html

SolCommand you should get with a dev and put all your ships/bases into one game and just have it be like Gratuitous Space Battles and have your creations go at it in a throw down :)

:) That would be something. Total mayhem Here's a ship I started working on yesterday. It's based on a Halo ship (the front of it).

I don't believe I have anything close to that, mostly because texturing such a huge ship would be a pain to say the least, however, if you have some designs / concepts (pics) I might give it a try to make such a model (without texture) when I'll have some free time. I'm not promising that I'm gonna make it for sure, but I can try :) P.S. I just released a small set of low poly drones and a pod that can be used in a side scroller for example.http://www.solcommand.com/2013/03/drones-and-pod-low-poly.html

Not even sure I know how a large bulk would look like, I tried re-texturing your sleeper ship (It would be about 2.2km in Pioneer and not very bulk like, but big enough), but I gave up, so I see your point :)https://github.com/pioneerspacesim/pioneer/issues/2092 Two ultra low poly ships with 3 texture variations:Those could almost go for drone fighters, looking good. :) I just released a small set of low poly drones and a pod that can be used in a side scroller for example.I can see Wall-E! :)

Here is a quick set of 19 low poly futuristic buildings, all using the same texture file: http://www.solcommand.com/2013/03/futuristic-towers.html

Hmm, looks interesting. I need to finish a couple of models first but after that I'll have a try at a ship based on this pic.

It`s going fine Sol Command! The RTS portion of the game needs only some little tweaking to get it intuitive. I am also making some optimizations to allow massive amounts of ships at one time, I would love to see hundreds of units in combat at a given time. It is only in the beginning yet, it doesn't have menus, command buttons, sector maps, etc. But when I get it done I will release a downloadable demo. Really liked the Void Destroyer project! Gave me some ideas to my own wannabe game :)Love your work, you are a very talented SCI FI artist!See you soon!
