Theres a bug, wich allows you to build only the 1st item from each research field. Restarting doesnt help.Edit: The only thing that works here is going into the research menu, chose what you wanna build (energy, pop, prod...), then go back into the building menu and you can buil anything from that field, weird bug :)
This bug has been fixed. Thanks for pointing it out.

I didnt do anything out of the ordinary, the same clicking, sending, building I did before. When im building and clicking, sometimes this happens, then it would go on like this for some time and then out of nowhere I can normaly build all other tier items, then it comes back again. Its weird :) I'll give it another fresh start.

Game from the 1st post link crashes on saving, is the save updated version also fixed so it can be aplied or do you have to fix the whole thing? Some ideas:-bigger ship/probe/grazer/asteroid icons when zoomed out, becouse its hard to click em-asteroids with grazers could be marked-colored, so you know where you sent em and dont need to click em all to find it-an option to gather resources from grazers with transports with auto pick up option when the grazer is full, maybe a trade menu for sending materials to colonies (you go on a planet where you wanna send it from, click trade, send, choose a transport, a colony and wich materials and click send)-a GO TO option for sending grazers/probes/ships/colonizers to locations of your choosing (you would choose a ship/probe/grazer would click the option go to and then you could choose -auto jump on the next researchable item with a bar or menu wich doesnt close with clicking, auto activate energy and population buildings when built-build queue with lets say 5 slots or maybe more

Yes the link above for the lite version also has the bug fixes.

I will see what features from the above suggestions I can include. In the meantime please note that by pressing "s" you get a spaceship panel which allows you to easily zoom and track your spaceships in space. There are also other panels besides this, see the first post for details.

Yes I did read the first post about the commands. Its nothing wrong, my play style is a bit different, seeing the whole solar system gives me a better overview of my empire. Becouse I can see what is where and its easier sendind probes/grazers/ships to different planets/asteroids. Theres no problem with either of the modes and I would encourage you, to keep both, depending on the players play style, either one can be used. The s and p commands dont work in m (solar system) mode. Or it could be changed, so when opening the s menu, you could simply click on a ship/probe/grazer and select it instantly and you just send it where ever you wanted. So there wouldnt be any need for zooming in on the craft and selecting it again. Just a thought.Edit:Space crafts bump into the sun and planets, mostly into the sun, when the colony is on the other side and they get stuck until the colony comes closer. Just to let you know.A glitch in the resources, load/unload menu. Sometimes a grazer will unload more materials than it can carry. 300 is its capacity and it can carry 3 different resources, my grazer just unloaded 719 copper and 3 other resources that Ive just transfered from a transport a few seconds before. The grazer unloaded a total of about 1500 unist of 4 different resources.

I added a Select button in the Spaceships list for that.

Will try to hunt these bugs and fix them.By the way I made an update, the asteroid panel which helps with asteroid management. All panels now work in both normal and map view.

Great job, its much more easier to send crafts on their ways. I suggest you make a colony panel aswell on c?, so you can cycle thru your colonies aswell. Tried the p cycling for colony search, but it doesnt have the right effect, gets annoyin after a few mins and it takes too long, so the colony panel would be a great idea. The ship panel should be moved to the right a bit, becouse they overlap if opened together, ships/asteroids or ships/planets.Grazers wich mine shut down, if you undeploy a fully loaded one.

This bug has been fixed. Also with regards to the bug you told me about the grazer getting resources of the transporter, I managed to find a bug and fix it, bit this only occurred if you scraped the transporter and built a grazer soon after. Did you do so, if not can you tell me the exact way to recreate the bug so I can fix it.

I've sent the grazer to the asteroid, when it was full sent it back to Earth, went to the resources menu and there it was, I didnt scrap any kind of ship before that. That was the first time that glitch occured and never had it again.

After more than a year and a half since this game was released I am glad to see people are still interested in it. This has made me pick up the source code and the first thing I did was to upgrade the resolution to 1920 x 1080 which I think is the standard for today's computers. I also fixed a bug in the energy section of the game and have added a feature to slow or speed up the game. I have included a download link for this update in the first post. I was also thinking about created a storyline or perhaps implementing in the game a way to make story scenarios by writing simple text scripts. Finally for people who play Haegemonia or Sins of a Solar Empire I have made some skirmish scenarios for these games which will allow you to play in our own solar system and with nearby stars like alpha centauri and sirius. If you are interested in these let me know and I will post a download link.
