Well, get it from Amazon then Pinback, the £30.00 I paid included the postage, and yes I know it's not Elite, but what to do while we wait for Elite IV? Call it a stop gap until the real thing arrives.

Bought it this morning from Game,I was just checking to see how much the digital version was and was very surprised to see it’s the same price as the physical version of the game.

That is one of my personal hates, why should a download cost the same as a retail? It should be a lot cheaper to download a game in my view since you don't have to pay for any physical media.

Looks like Steams not the cheapest for games.I really expected it to be about £25 never thought they would be trying to sell it for the same price as the box game.Wonder when the first patch will be out .

I will by this next year sometime since I doubt that Egosoft is going to continue this series and will probably start on something else very soon if not already. I think picking this up for under $30 will be a good deal. Maybe Xmas time I might be able to get it cheaper and I will only buy the boxed version.

I've already got all these, but it cost me a hell of a lot more than 30 quid

X:btf is the best when you consider how old it is. And the addon to it was pretty cool, but thats like x2 and x3 really.

I think you can have also the steam version with the code from the boxed version.

True Captain Kal, if you want online achievements activated, it has to be through Steam which the retail box allows you to do.

£24.99 free delivery on Play.com. http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/15694160/X-Superbox/Product.htmlMakes that price on steam look even more ridiculous.
